In-Depth Overview – What Is Hotel Ereza Mar Really Like?

Hotel Ereza Mar is fundamentally different from the other hotels in this Fuerteventura collection because it is adults-only. It should not be marketed as a family hotel or Free Child Place property. Current room and booking information is geared towards adults, and there is no kids’ club, no children’s pool and no family-with-children room programme.

For adults, its appeal is location and atmosphere. The hotel sits in Caleta de Fuste, close to the seafront and roughly 300 metres from the beach. Rather than trying to be a large entertainment resort, Ereza Mar focuses on a calmer Atlantic-facing stay, with an infinity pool, a second outdoor pool, sea-view chill-out areas, Jacuzzis, yoga, gym facilities and an easy walk into the resort.

The 160 rooms are relatively contemporary and range from standard rooms to sea-view rooms and junior suites. Most are designed for two adults, while the sea-view junior suite can take up to three people. Balconies or terraces are standard features, so paying for the right view can make a meaningful difference to the stay.

Dining is simple rather than sprawling. There is a buffet restaurant for the standard board service, while Mar Dorado is the separate à la carte restaurant with sea views. The All Inclusive package currently covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, local drinks and snacks from the pool bar at stated times. Mar Dorado is not automatically part of the standard All Inclusive package.

The hotel works well for adults who want to walk rather than rely on taxis. Caleta de Fuste’s beach, restaurants, marina and promenade are all convenient, while Fuerteventura Golf Club and island excursions are easy to arrange. The short distance from the airport is another advantage for shorter breaks.

The main strength: calm adults-only atmosphere, seafront position and a compact resort you can explore on foot. The important warning: it is not appropriate for a Free Child Places family page and should be removed from that hotel list.
