What Is AluaVillage Fuerteventura Really Like?

AluaVillage Fuerteventura is a polished, modern family resort rather than a high-energy waterpark hotel. It sits above the Esquinzo coastline in southern Fuerteventura, with views towards the Atlantic and access to the long beaches that run towards Jandía. The setting is quieter than Corralejo or central Caleta de Fuste, so the hotel suits families who are happy for the resort itself to be the centre of most days.

The property has 244 rooms and suites, many with balconies or terraces and some with ocean views. The accommodation has a more contemporary feel than many older Canary Island family hotels. Families who value room quality and sea views may find AluaVillage more appealing than a basic value-led All Inclusive complex.

Pool life is central but not overwhelming. There are two outdoor pools plus a separate children’s pool, so younger guests have their own water space without the whole hotel feeling like a waterpark. There is also an indoor wellness pool, although spa-area access and age rules should be checked before relying on it as a family facility.

The Astro Club gives school-holiday families a structured children’s programme, while sports and daytime activities suit older children and active adults. This is the kind of hotel where a family can spend the morning at the pool, walk or head down to the beach in the afternoon, then return for dinner and evening entertainment without feeling as though every hour is scheduled.

Dining is another strength. Terra is the main buffet restaurant, Fresco provides more casual poolside food and Enyesque adds another dining style. That three-venue structure gives more variety than a single-buffet hotel, especially on a 10- or 14-night stay. As always, individual restaurant opening days can be seasonal.

Esquinzo itself is much quieter than Corralejo, so do not choose this hotel if you want a busy resort centre immediately outside. Choose it if you want good rooms, a strong pool set-up, a children’s club, sea views and easy access to the Jandía beaches. Morro Jable is the obvious place to go for a livelier evening, harbour trip or boat excursion.
