This guide is deliberately about this hotel rather than a generic description of Zante. When choosing a room, compare the exact layout, view, balcony or terrace, and whether a family category gives genuinely separated sleeping space. For longer stays, restaurant variety, snack hours and the location of quieter pool areas can make as much difference as the star rating.

White Olive Elite: Pools, Restaurants, Spa & Entertainment

White Olive Elite is a modern hotel rather than one of Laganas' older apartment-style properties. The hotel currently confirms three swimming pools plus a children's wading pool. The main pool is approximately 285m² and has a livelier atmosphere with music in peak season; the secondary pool is around 160m² and is intended to provide a quieter place to relax. The children's paddling pool is shallow at around 0.4m. This split is useful for mixed groups where children want activity but adults also want somewhere calmer.

There are two restaurants: the main All Inclusive buffet restaurant serving Mediterranean and European food at breakfast, lunch and dinner, and an à la carte restaurant. Drinks are served from two bars, the Pool Bar and evening Lobby Bar. The pool bar also handles casual food such as pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads, fruit and ice cream.

The hotel has a children's playroom rather than being marketed as a huge kids-club resort. Other facilities include a fitness centre and spa, and the hotel runs an animation programme. This makes White Olive Elite a better fit for families with children who do not need an enormous waterpark, and for couples who want a modern hotel close to Laganas but with enough facilities to spend full days on site.

Laganas outside the hotel

The sandy beach is roughly 300m away according to the hotel. Laganas gives guests a huge choice of restaurants, bars, shops, excursions and nightlife. Families and couples who want quieter evenings can head towards Kalamaki or Agios Sostis, while turtle-watching trips in the National Marine Park are one of the area's signature excursions.

Food, Drink & All Inclusive

The useful question is not simply whether All Inclusive is available, but what is actually included. Check current buffet times, snack service, à la carte access, reservation rules, ice cream, branded drinks and the closing time of the All Inclusive bars. These details matter considerably on a 10- or 14-night stay.

What Is Laganas Like?

Laganas is Zante’s liveliest resort, but it also fronts the protected Bay of Laganas. The hotel works for guests who want resort nightlife and restaurants nearby while still having a polished hotel base.

Kalamaki, Cameo Island, Agios Sostis, Keri and Zante Town are easy additions when you want time away from the main Laganas strip.

Transfer & Getting Around

Zante is compact, so transfer distances are generally manageable compared with larger Greek islands. A private transfer reduces hotel stops, while a hire car for two or three days is useful for northern villages, viewpoints, Blue Caves departure points and quieter beaches.
