About Sun Palace Hotel
Sun Palace Hotel deserves to be compared on its actual facilities, location and family set-up—not just on the words ‘All Inclusive’ or ‘Free Child Place’. The hotel’s particular selling point is a Faliraki choice with a strong waterpark identity and easy access to the resort and beach.
This page deliberately separates facts we could verify from details that can change. Where a room, restaurant, pool or club count could not be reliably confirmed, we say so rather than guessing. Always use the TUI button for the current package description for your dates.
Hotel facilities at a glance
Facilities can be seasonal, renovated or withdrawn. Check the live TUI hotel description before paying.
Family entertainment and children’s facilities
kids club, playground, children’s water areas, weekly animation and theme nights. That is the starting point for judging whether this hotel fits your children’s ages. Kids-club age bands, opening days, evening entertainment, water slides and supervised sessions can be seasonal, so check the live programme rather than relying on an older brochure.
For families, also compare practical details such as family-room occupancy, cot availability, children’s meal options, pool depth and whether slides have height or age restrictions.
Where is the hotel and which airport do you use?
Sun Palace Hotel is in Faliraki, Rhodes. The relevant arrival airport for this holiday area is Rhodes International Airport “Diagoras”. about 15 km from the airport.
Package coach times can be longer than the direct road distance because the transfer may stop at other hotels. Private transfers can differ again.
What is Faliraki like outside the hotel?
A major east-coast rhodes resort with a long beach, lots of restaurants and bars, watersports and easy access to rhodes waterpark.
Bars and restaurants: Faliraki has its own local eating and drinking scene, but the exact walk from Sun Palace Hotel varies by where the property sits within the resort. Check the current hotel map before booking if being able to walk out for dinner or an evening drink is important to you.
Family days out: Rhodes waterpark, anthony quinn bay, ladiko and rhodes old town are popular family trips.
All Inclusive at Sun Palace Hotel
Buffet meals and selected drinks form the core package; importantly, the hotel notes waterpark entrance may not be included in the room price, so check the exact tui package.
All Inclusive does not necessarily mean every restaurant, branded drink, ice cream, room-service item, watersport or spa treatment is free. Opening hours and inclusions can also change between early season, school-holiday peaks and October. Read the live TUI board description for your exact departure.
Free Child Places: what families should know
A Free Child Place is subject to availability and qualifying conditions. It can sell out, change or be withdrawn at any time. Eligibility can depend on the departure airport, date, room type, occupancy, child age and the exact package selected.
Always compare the total holiday price with and without a Free Child Place. A package displaying a Free Child Place is not automatically the cheapest overall family holiday. Compare the final live price for the whole family, including any baggage, transfers, room upgrade or extras you actually need.
Benefits of a Free Child Place and All Inclusive
Free Child Place benefit
When available on a qualifying package, one child place can reduce the family total and may make a better room or preferred dates more affordable.
All Inclusive budgeting
Having core meals and selected drinks included can make day-to-day spending easier to predict, especially when children want regular drinks, snacks and ice creams.
One package booking
Package holidays commonly combine flights and accommodation, with the live TUI booking showing the exact inclusions and protection that apply.
More time together
On-site pools, food and entertainment can reduce the need to plan every meal or activity away from the hotel, while still leaving the option to explore Faliraki.
